Upcoming Off-Broadway Production: As the director of Good Morning New York, I am overjoyed that the show will begin its Off-Broadway residency at The Players Theatre on January 11, 2020!! In addition to directing the production, I'll be choreographing the show's tap number because, once a tap dancer, always a tap dancer.

A little backstory on my involvement with the production. Good Morning New York was created, produced, and written by Jacki Thrapp and co-composed by Dylan Adler. Shortly after the script's staged reading in early summer 2018, I joined the creative team as the director and co-choreographer. We then had a showcase at Feinstein's/54 Below - one of my favorite venues in New York City - for a night of Good Morning New York's music. About a month later, we brought the production to The PIT Loft for a three-week limited engagement before adding in a full band for our official debut at The New York Theater Festival 2018.
In between our summer 2018 run and our Off-Broadway debut, you can get production updates on Jacki Thrapp's Making A Musical podcast. I've had the pleasure of being a guest multiple times on the podcast so, if you're interested, check out Jacki and my discussion on the Making A Musical: Inside The Mind of A Director episode.
